2005 Fundraiser - Australia
Hi all,
You may have noticed the Thread that has been put on here by our friends from the Forum. Please read...%/..2005 Fundraiser. I was wondering if the Cobra Club in each state could vote on sending an amount across. I am positive that every club has members who use the Forum. I can certainly guarantee that all those who do use the Forum have gained some valuable information from the members on here. I guess the question then is, what value do we individually put on the Forum. They are looking for $50 US from each member. I think this is very reasonable. What about the club putting a few dollars in also. Each club has used the Forum to promote events etc. Particularly the Victorians, New South Wales and Queensland clubs. Just a thought....:confused.. I currently do not have access to PayPal. Does anyone have this. I am more than happy to send a cheque to a central position/person to forward from us Aussies.. :confused: Any ideas or thoughts Bernie |

Thanks for the link. The Thread also appears on the Australian Forum as a stand alone so we should get some interest. I'll be in the States in mid June for the London Ohio event and SAAC at Fontana California. I'll carry any cash out of Australia for you guys..:LOL: We recently had a high profile Politician in the sh!t over here for carrying a large sum of cash out, for a charitable reason..:LOL: Bernie |

I more than happy to hold any cash and take it over. We just need to get a few more involved in raising the awareness and the dollars. I just had a quick count and there are over 60 forum users here on the east coast. I'm sure everyone has had $50 worth of value from the forum. I'm going to suggest to King Jason II our Victorian President that he puts a dollar amount to the club also. Perhaps this can be done in Queensland and NSW...:confused: Someone may then PayPal the lot to 'A-Snake' and the Forum Moderators. Bernie |

Re the Forum fundraiser.
A-Snake (Jim) on the Forum here is the collection point. Jim has an email address that you can send money to direct. Just email Jim or email me and we will give you the address. I have set up a PayPal account which is quite easy to do and forwarded my $50 US direct to Jim. Again I would encourage all of the Australian Forum users to send the $50. I think its good value for what we are able to get back in return. Cheers Bernie |
