I should have mine completed by then so put me down for the day. Hope it doesn't rain, got no hood:CRY: Leeroy. |
Hi Leeroy,
how about some pics of the beast. Post as many as you like, we never get bored seeing cobras. Regards. |
Now..this will be interesting. :)
Hope you ford fellas come out reasonably well by comparison with those from the dark side. |
You Ford guys may as well run and hide now.
|
It is a shame that I cannot attend. It would have been nice to know what my car would have done in standard form. Sadly the WASP has been stripped and getting a little overhaul in the gearbox and engine department. Plus other places. Dougie Pearce is at it again.
|
Darkside a bit on the Lightside
Better get down to the speed shop cause at the moment lucky to pull the skin off a custard:LOL: Currently a very standard Gen3 with MAF, hot air induction (air pod behind radiator) cats & mufflers to keep the EPA boys happy until it cools down. Might try to improve induction before 25th if time allows. Just happy to be able to drive it to Caufield at this satge. Looking forward to it

Leeroy,
Great to hear you are back on the road. Lerts hope the weather is good for the weekend and you can dazzle the locals with that protective coating. Send photos please:D Have you seen what APS are doing to Gen 3. Strewth. Worth a look at their site. Phil:D |
The weather looks great for the day
Well the day is getting closer (the 25th to be exact)
and the places are filling fast. We are limited to a maximum of 15 cars (I cannot cook that much food also**) So let me know via this site ( as some have done) or contact me on the mobile. It will be good to get a mix of Ford/GM products against each other on the same dyno..... See you there.........:JEKYLHYDE STIFFY |
How Many
Stiffy, what the go, how many are going, who's on the dyno ?????
I will be attending for lunch, probably a bit early for a beer, and will definitely be too cold:CRY:  No point me putting the little shopping trolley on the dyno, have not made any changes since making 201 kw at the rear wheels at the last dyno day.  See you there Snaken |
Places are filling
Snaken and Others,
We are nearly at the maximum runners for the day... So if anyone is still keen to come let me know ASAP There is limited undercover parking for those roofless models so dont worry if its a big grey outside. The dyno is the rolling style so it will not take long to complete the runs....... Stiffy. |
Stiffy
what time does it kick off in the morning? |
Not too early
Leeroy, we are starting at 9AM......................:JEKYLHYDE
That will give all cars their 4 runs and maybe some tune time if available. Stiffy |
Pencil me in for lunch Stiffy,
I'm working dayshift on that weekend but should be able to make it down for a couple of hours at lunch time. |
Only a few spots left
Hi All,
There are a couple of spaces left for cars to show their stuff on the dyno. So if you want to see what your car has got let me know ASAP as we have to finalise the numbers/catering soon. The weather forcast states 14 and sunny, good for high HP AND DRY UNDIES:JEKYLHYDE see you there..... STIFFY |

See you all there STIFFY :JEKYLHYDE |
Well done Stiffy, Great turn out and nice BBQ.
Hope someone took a few photos. :) |
Ok fellas..where are the numbers :D
And I'm not talking about the number of snags eaten at the BBQ. :) |
Thanks Stiffy for a great morning. Finally got the cobra out in public to get to the dyno day which was interesting. Well my stock LS1 with hot air induction and road going exhaust max. out at 245HP with 1000lb torque (170kph) not really sure what any of that means but I got a printout to prove it:3DSMILE: Discovered plenty of things now needing attention. Both doors dropped and chipped the paint, exhuast rattles, seats belts keep locking in and cant pull them out!! rear suspension still squeeks like buggery, instrument dash lights not working?? Otherwise fine%/ Nice to meet up with all and thanks again Stiffy.
Leeroy. ps/ Garrett have you paid for all the broken windows after you got off the dyno?? |
To Leeroy, I was just wondering how many hp/kw or LS1 makes @ the flywheel and therefore the amount of hp gets lost within your running gear? Just wondering cause I wanna guesstimate what my T56 will eat up.
