Default trying to learn more info

Hello All,
I am trying to learn the regulations and requirements to register a 30 + year old car in Australia. I manufacture a Cobra inspired body kit that bolts to a Corvette chassis without chassis modifications needed. The concept works with any 3rd Generation =1968 to 1982 Corvette. The non collector year cars are dirt cheap and plentiful here in the states.
The Cobray-C3 is a hot rod version inspired by the 60's Cobra, hand sculpted to be a little longer and wider until it flows on a 98 inch chassis. Very straight forward build and more of a re-body than a new construction kit. Our body and floor is a 1 piece fiberglass assembly. We use the original vette mount locations but added a trunk and then made it more comfortable.
I need help to understand all of the challenges to registering this car so nothing is missed. Thank you guys for what you have already sent me and the links are much appreciated. Tough to research from the states but I have learned the following details.
A 30 + year old car (1975 and older) is exempt from many smog standards. Import fees and costs are much lower on a 30 + car. A non modified factory vette chassis already meets many standards. Vette is a 2 seat roadster with factory side exhaust in small or big block dress, IRS, and more is all factory stock.
