I dont know that much about the quick jack pads

(and this may become even more apparent shortly)

But when I first saw them it looked to me like someone had taken an oxy to a couple of bits of angle iron.

Which is basically how I intend to fabricate mine.

Please feel free to point out the flaws in this plan prior to my starting
