Lizard Skin....?

G'day,
I'm thinking about buying some Lizard Skin ceramic heat shield paint. I would like to know about any tricks in applying the stuff and how easy it is to sand, what colour is it, is it at all flexible and does the 2 gallon(US) bucket suffice ?

I emailed lizard skin and they said it is very flexible..It sticks to fibreglass and the finish is mildly bumpy.

I used the Lizard Skin paint on all of the interior fiberglass. I also drilled some small holes in the doors and coated the entire insides. It gave them a much more solid feel and sound. I used an undercoating syphon gun to apply it. Just had to thin it a little. It is water soluble. I sanded the smooth surfaces with 120 grit before applying. The 2 gallon tub was enough for 2 coats in the entire cockpit and the inner front fenders around the header area. I would use it again.

I was wondering wether it could be thinned..."Mando" has the proper gun but I can't seem to find him. I think I'll order some soon.
