Now....that looks to me just like a knock off adapter minus some pin nuts.

demicobra 02-21-2007 05:08 AM

Hey Blair, I wasn`t sledging Rebel, I was just showing
him the respect he deserves as our fearless leader.

Grandad, I think I lose more with the calipers than what
I gain with the rotors (and if not, at least it will look ok) **) **)

Besides if I drop a few kgs off my sorry fat a$$, I can offset
the heavier rotors

Pete, the car is stripped for prep, priming & paint at the
moment. It`s booked for upholstery in March.

I can finally start to see light at the end of the tunnel. %/

Give me a ring on Saturday & I`ll make sure I`m home,
not much to see(its all in containers) but there`s plenty
of beers in the fridge. :D

Regards

Nick

Even if my Cobra was at home, there would be no driving to work for me. Local paper reckons we have had 1 metre of rain in the month of Fefruary!

PCC 02-22-2007 05:30 PM

Blair,

Cobra is at work and it is now persisting it down.

The Californian cover is doing its job - thankfully.

I hope the roads dry out by the end of the afternoon otherwise I will be sliding home sideways.

Back to the subject - big brakes don't help in the rain!!!!

At least the car was due a wash:p

That's not the Club Members, its the Riot Squad attending one of their meetings to squash any arguments.;) ;)

Rob. Smith 02-23-2007 03:25 AM

WRX are subaru and they all look the same to me. There is even a station wagon with a "hot" motor / engine set up. Factory production clones... My mums' 79 and she's got one....a pensioners car ?

PCC 02-23-2007 04:06 AM

Each to there own Rob, but drive one and you'll see a Cobra will never match its handling.

The one I have, which is a little different can even hold its own with a SS V8as long here is a corner or too.

Willwood Dinolites ? do they have weather seals ? I have heard that they are race spec and that they don't have weather seals which inturn allow all sorts of muck to gather around the piston-to-bore cavity and cause premature wear.

No they don't. I have had them on for a few years and no problem. Each time you replace the pads, rebuild them.
