While I'm on the Subject of changing things....
Been having some problems of late with timing chains failing.
In the end after a couple of these problems , have decided to go to Cam Belt Drive System.
Required a complete change to the front of the engine, got rid of the Gilmer Drives, and normal water pump, and now has electric water pump, and normal pulley and belt system for alternator etc.
The cam belt drive is an external belt system,( same as the V8 Supercars...so that's cool ) with a constant tension wheel, which is VERY adjustable, very smooth, and doesn't look too rough either.
Don't know why I had suddenly developed a problem with the timing chains, but if anybody else has a similar prob., this has fixed it.
Warren.

If it helps, I've attached the "blurb" Ii have on a poster thingy I use when I enter any show and shines etc.
It just lets people see what's in the engine without having to ask a lot of questions.
Anyway.....

Wow
Wazza,
great combo, no wonder you are at the pointy end.
I think you are foxing with the power output.
I like the cam belt systems, almost used one myself.
