Question help suggesting a donor car, a car to pretty much pinch parts from!

What would any one recommend to be the best donor car to pinch parts for my cobra? Its a g-force shell to suit a crown chassis, but my chassis is fully rebuilt and strengthened. Can anyone help on what should be my major donor car or could help me find a book,cd,dvd on what people have used as donor parts to build there kit cobra's

I would have thought that meeting emissions would be the primary concern, hence the need to fit either a ford modular or LS2 etc. Having decided on one of these, what other donor parts would you need from another car as you already have the chassis running gear.
If somehow you find a way to comply Clevo, then an XD came out with 351, box and 9" rear. Saw one the other day in Just Cars I think it was for 5K. Probably cheaper to buy the bits.
Likewise, a Jag series 2 that someone has already upgraded to 350 chev and t400, theres a few in unique/just cars. But again, compliance of emissions will burn us all.
I don't wish to hijack the forum so maybe we could take emission compliance somewhere else as it seems to be a killer of choice, being that I am about to start the plan to buy/build and am feeling very nervous about compliance.
Just my 2c worth, rounded down !
