Long enough

I must admit I not into that stuff but it seamed appropriate for ther car.

Les the whole paint took 12 weeks, the body prep was 6weeks the murals took 3weeks, but was only one week in actual work. and 3 weeks for the candy, chop and flow coat 3 times.

The photos do not come close to showing how good the paint is. In the light it changes colour and just pops.

What will really spin you guys out is the detail and hard work that has gone into the build of this car. Everything is done perfectly, and is designed to last.

Phil

Looks great I embarassed..

That paint job would have cost more than my car..

It is absolutely amazing the work that you can see in the graphics. Look forward to seeing the magazine article

The cost

The price of the paint was not what you would expect.

With handing them the body in an as moulded condition with 4 years of hacking by myself to fix up, the total cost of the paint was only a couple of thousand more than a standard paint job.

How it was done is that I used a local painter Lingane to prep the car, then took it to Bad image to do the murals, I must admit he did a good price for me, it is a long story and the guys at Lingane did a good price for me as well to finish it off.

Bernie, I love your car and if you want to sell it for the price of my paint I will buy it today.

I think you got a bargain Phil.

It is certainly cheaper than a couple of quotes I have had for a pearl job with normal stripes.

Hopefully the guy that is quoting me today will be reasonable! I wonder how much it would cost for Bad Image to do some ghost flames for me?

Hi Phil...

That's a brilliant job you've done on the whole car....got a lot of people up here talking about how great it looks, and looking forward to seeing it "in the flesh".

Ron won't be coming this year...he's having a holiday on his yacht...poor bugger.
Warwick is flying down on Friday, had too much work to go away for the full week.
I'm up and ready to get going today....been awake since 3-30 a.m......must be keen.
It's our once a year holiday, so reeeeeealy looking forward to it.
The joys of being self employed, when you get exited about having a WHOLE WEEK off !
Short drive to Ballina today for a "pre-Nationals" dinner tonight, then Raymonds Terrace tomorrow night, then Goulburn.

Take care and I'll see you there.

Regards,
Warren.

Was looking at my pulleys, thought the pump was overdriven measured them tonight there nearly the same diameter so I'm going to run a smaller restriction in the thermostat housing to slow the waterflow, will see on friday if that helps, if not Im just going to run it till it blows up , then I'll sort it out for sure
