Default Help - I need a good spray painter

Can anyone from Sydney, recommend a good spray painter to do my Cobra.

I am planning on painting it a metallic Aqua Teal (See my gallery) with silver grey metallic stripes, front to rear.

Trying to get someone to do a first class job on a fibreglass body seems almost impossible.

I live in the Sutherland Shire and preferrably would like to get someone in either my area or St.George.

Baz

Dave at Lingane painted my car, he is the guy that does Ians car.

Look more at about $10 000 as he has to many to do and no time to do them.

Baz

Good luck with Linganes. I was in there yesterday and his workshop is choka block with works in progress and jobs waiting to be started.
I think they are worth the wait though.

Default Linganes seem to be the answer.

Thanks for everyone who responded to my request.

I will contact Dave at Lingane's to try and establish some sort of a time frame with him.

Now that my build is really going ahead, I will have to decide whether the long wait is worth it or try and find another good body preparer / painter of fibreglass who works to really high 'Show Class' standards.

In my humble opinion, the final paint and trim job are the most important part of the build. They supply the 'WOW' factor and is the first thing that an admirer sees.

If Lingane's are going to take too long, I'm also toying with the idea of sourcing out Custom Painters who prepare Hot Rods for Show purposes. They seem to do a great job too.

Once again, thanks to everyone who offered me the helpful advise.

Baz.

Thanks Boxhead (No offence mate)

I did go to a hot rod site and found just what I've been looking for at Caringbah, which is quite close to home. He can start my job shortly. Have inspected his work and spoke to a few prior clients and I'm onto a good thing here. It's called 'Andy's Restorations' at 9 Erskine Rd, Caringbah. Phone 9524-8899.

Baz
