Default Painters in SEQ

As I approach the painting stage I was wondering if anyone had suggestions about painters that they or others have successfully used in South East Qld. I am at the Sunshine Coast but anyone in the Brisbane area would also be of great interest.

Many thanks,

Merv

Thanks! Sounds interesting! Did he do the one on your gallery? Were you entirely happy with him and did he do all the preparation of the body as well? When was it done, so when I call I can refer to it?

Merv

There is also a fella on the far northside of Brisbane. He owns a RMC and has recently finished demicobra's DRB.

This fella is an artist with a spraygun and really knows how to paint glass bodies, and can also so some reshaping of the body.

This fella MAY even do most of the prep work at your place (subject to agreement on travel) and then take the car to a booth for final finishing.

Give Nick (demicobra) a call for his impressions. Nicks car involved some serious reshaping.

Give me a yell if you want the painters number.

I got my GT40 & now my RMC Cobra painted by Chris Pilling at Express Panel. They are on the Gold Coast Ph 5591 2151. Owner of the shop is Craig.

They are an accident repair shop, but also take on project work. They have certainly looked after me well and the quality of work that Chris does is excellent.

Not the ideal location for Merv, but I thought I might throw it out there for anyone else looking for painters.

Mine was done by Angelo in Casino (of all places). I am very happy with the work and the service. Just a bit far away. He also painted another of Warwick's cars earlier this year.
