Gawd, bluddy hell uncle Pete. :)

I surely agree we live in the best country in the world.....that's why we can't allow those who control the purse strings to screw up any further.

So uncle Pete, were you the one responsible for increasing the Gateway toll to $2.60?. and.....I'm sure you've noticed.....work progresses on sections of the gateway on the north side. Good to see capital monies being spent where it is deserved.

What's sex??

Was that WHAT Sex or what's sex:JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE %/ :D :p

Having being stuck in traffic for an hour last night (on your side I would add) the second bridge will be very much anticipated. No doubt this will push the queue back down to our neck of the woods.

Keep the flag flying redneck:3DSMILE:

My last quote on this thread.

I think this is where this thread started.

NSW Burnout/Street Racing legislation allows the motor vehicle of offenders to be confiscated and sold for 2nd & subsequent offences.

I certainly don't think that the cars should be used as crash test models by the RTA then the videos of their destruction sent to the previous owners.

In my opinion, those confiscated vehicles should be sold, along with vehicles of repeat offenders who have been convicted of dangerous, disqualified and high range drink driving.

The money raised from the sale of their vehicles should be used solely for the rehabilitation of persons who have been maimed and injured by these lunatics.

Besides that, I think the current Government in NSW stinks.

Baz.

I'm far from a legal eagle but doesn't a finance company retain ownership until the property is paid off in full.

So the force may well be crushing the property of an insurance company.

Failing that...stop paying it off and have the thing repossessed.

Interesting question.

Nothing changes. The Finance Companies still go the owners for what's outstanding.

I recall some major saying "we wont take on dick heads" I agree. There's a lot of "units" out there that would make great marines !

Rob. Smith 11-16-2007 05:16 AM

I heard an interview with an important Major General the other day. He said (politely) that they will not take on...Dickheads. The americans do this in the form of marines. Look at the stories out of Iraq. Dummies with guns

I have a little box attached to my shed that rosellas nest in every year. One year the Indian mynahs harrassed the young rosellas till they left (they are a tough bird anyway) then the mynahs moved in. First I put two wires along the perch and hooked it up to a powerpoint. That was funny. Any bird relaxes to sleep so their feet clench the perch. When electricity makes them
"tense-up" they let go and fell off the perch. That was funny but it didn't deter them.
I found that if you shot one and left it on the ground for a day or two the others got the message and left. I have had no mynahs since... that was three years ago.
I controlled the electricity from a power point in the kitchen. I have not laughed as much in ages.
