If you are in the market for a US Cobra kit, including right hand drive, check out hurricane-motorsports.com , they have built a right hand drive street roadster kit for me, 100% in bits shipped to Indonesia, look under their owners forum, find build pictures and look up NorJakCobra, has some photos of it before it was blown apart.
Ken

Good luck on the bus, didn't someone else have a bus with a blown motor in it running on the Aussie Salt?

The only reason It will have a mattress is so I can have a nanna nap when I am out.

I used to have a mechanic neighbour and one day an early model Kombi pulled up at his place with a P-76 engine hanging out the back. Sounded great, did wheelstands and the bloke that owned it was pretty shonky so I'll bet it wasn't registered in that configuration. He got 12 months of fun at least.
There was also a kit to turn a beetle into a mid engined V8 (just behind the seats) That looked like fun AND it had a major chassis.
Theres a bloke in Vic ( I think ) with an early model beetle with an MG chassis with a 302 in the front.. that thing is scary. I tried to keep up with it one day and it just "cruised" away. Theres an old bloke in the US that built a punk blown 350,mid engine, Kombi...it's in HOT ROD magazine..have a look at their website it may still be there.
