Question Going once

Hi all

Going Once

This site has just openned at VicRoads with a number of new plates being issued.

I see that AC is available and GT.40 to name two.

As I have 888.866 from the Cobra and XR 0888 for the ute I'm right. Also have 888.840 for the GT40.

So I will not be tendering....

What will AC fetch and GT40 fetch at tender...

I just heard on the ABC radio that V2 will fetch over $400,000 - yes four hundred thousand dollars.

Mmmm maybe just a little hype to get the prices up there in the tender process.

That's some crazy money Bernie. I hope the millions are donated to charity and not the government coffers.

What do these numbers mean I'm a bit slow I don't understand ?

Short answer is they don't mean much at all.

Seriously....

As the Cobra was a '66 I went 888866 and was then told that the 8's are lucky numbers particularly in China.

The XR 8 ute was a good option to get the 888 again so I tried for XR008 and XR888 and they were gone. I just re typed in XR0888 and it was available.

I went for the 8's again with the GT40 and just copied the Cobra number - which is now on my other work ute. The Gt 40 number is 888840.

So hope all the 8's which are V8 numbers are lucky.

Incidently my wife was give 330888 for her 330 convertible by my kids.

Mmmm.. ..perhaps lucky.

I'm into numbers even my mobile phone number ends in 564448 - now bet you cannot work out what that number combination is.

I'll buy lunch at the next car for anyone who can work out the significance of that number...

Rebel 1

.. so you were paying attention during that physchology and numbers lesson at Uni...

Done.

Yes 0408 KNIGHT

The 0408 is 0G0T

So it's 0G0T KNIGHT

Mmmm nine is higher - the anchor effect and fixation on random data.....cognitive physcology...guess I just like the 8's. As Freud said sometimes a cigar is just a cigar..

When did you get a 40????

Dang! If you did, you really need to keep us "states side" blokes informed.

Look to see you in London.

Trularin,

Yes about two months ago. Just going through a slight finish off.

At this stage I'm doing one or two events this year up there.

I've been talking with Hershal and he is over with me in March for the Phillip Island Classics and the F1 GP etc. So we will do a little planning then..
