I think the one on the right was driven by CS, while the other (truly derailed) one is SAAC.

PCC 02-12-2008 06:52 PM

Its obviously an Aussie and a Yank competing for track position.

Obviously the Aussie won (right hand drive)!

BMK 02-12-2008 08:52 PM

Aaah now I'm on the right track..

And that would be the track marshalls attempting to see who had right of way...

stephen low 02-12-2008 09:01 PM

Can see it now, two drivers in their cabins saying.................

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, until............

One says, uh oh...........I think I can't - bang!

Sounds a lot like a recent roundabout experience - Doh

thudmaster 02-12-2008 09:16 PM

Yeah but which one of those trains was the real1 and which one is the replica?

Aussie Mike 02-12-2008 10:24 PM

Trains aren't real good at swerving to avoid things in their way. It always amazes me the stupidity of people that will sit across a level crossing in peak hour traffic. They are hoping the traffic will move before a train happens along and the boom gates drop down.

This sort of thing happens with alarming regularity: Old Lady Vs Train No one was hurt in this one but it could have been worse.

Cheers
