Yes Les - I agree, an Ariel Atom in disguise.
I wouldn't mind the coupe version, but parking in shopping centres may be a drama especially getting across the speed humps. Good luck Craig in your new venture. Hopefully you don't have too much of an outlay other than time in what is a very selective niche market. Like any succesful business, its 90% hard graft and 10% luck. I see Ford are offloading Aston - maybe you could pick that up as an Ozzie re-seller. |
Nuh Pete.....according to the spec sheet it's got 4" ground clearance.
Race Car Replicas - 586-329-1573 - Superlite cars Anyways, last I saw your cobra it was wayyyyyyy down in the weeds. :JEKYLHYDE |
Thanks Pete, I'll have to make some enquiries about the Aston deal. :D
Yeah, the Superlight Coupe has the ground clearance and the front over hang is not too bad either. There is also an additional aero kit that can be fitted for track use. |
Les,
Its still in the weeds, but only because the weeds have grown:3DSMILE: I must have 5" clearance now, still too low for the Straddie barge:rolleyes: Craig, Whats the likely benchmark for a completed coupe????? pm if you wish |
Apologies.............
Not the coupe, its the P4 I find interesting. Have you got any better pics than what's on the web site? |
Found the pics - drrrrrrrrrrrrr
I presume it is a 2 seater??? |

Pete, you could get one done in carbon fibre and use Ferrari V12 365/400i type engine. Hook that up to a ZF 25/2 transaxle. RCR have done a few with this sort of configuration. If I had the time & money that would be the ultimate way to go. |

I know of a nice light 6Ltr engine that would look right at home in that thing. Not saying which one in case I upset the natives. ;) Hooked up to a less expensive transaxle and that would be a affordable beast. |
