T5 gearbox re-build / repair kits

Looking to my winter rebuild am curious if anyone can recommend a good supplier of gearbox repair kits.

I expect I'll need a general seal and bearing kit for the main shaft, I haven't yet got specific repair targets, but given the box will be in bits on the bench, I'll freshen up most bits just to be sure.

Had been pointed at a few US kit suppliers but am both a little uneasy that I'll properly match my gearbox to their parts, ie I'll get in the wrong bits and the few I've explored seem might expensive.

Hence the push for local suppliers, preferrably in Melbourne too, but interstate would pose less risk than US sourced bits for correctness.

Other than Mal Wood are there transmission parts suppliers out there people can recommend?

Cheers

Steve,
Have a look at this site, they have anything for anything
I tried getting just bearings for a Nissan box from all the bearing suppliers cbc etc and I was told to go genuine (nissan).
Found these guys in las vegas and they did a whole rebuild kit for $ 208.
thats 5 bearings, seals, gaskets, shifterbush, etc.
didn't even try nissan.

Stef might be able to bring it back for you he's good like that.

Check out GForce T-5. They sell special very high quality gear sets that will take up to 600 hp.

Ford Motor Sports has the kit and gears.

The 2d gear cost me 88.15 + shipping = 97.45 from Hanlon Motorsports.
Ford MotorSports T-5 Rebuild kit is going to be $234 + shipping from Five Star Ford.
Both should be in next week.

Going to be a nice weekend. Wish my car was on the road.

Check this pivot pin on the linkage for 'play' when you have it down. It appears to be a weak link in the T5. When it gets loose it can make shifting into reverse difficult to impossible. The pin handles reverse and 5th gear, 5th is generally not a problem with a loose pin, reverse is.
