Default Stiffy Panorama at ShelbyFest

Hi All,

I haven't had the chance to process most of my images from ShelbyFest yet, but here's something to keep the girls happy - a Stiffy panorama

That's a great picture. Were the cobras at speed or just parading? Nice job!

MaSnaka,

It's only one car in the shot, not a parade. Think you'll find it is a composit shot with a motor drive camera and some good editing, right Buddy?

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the title "Stiffy Panaroma" , but I have to admit that the composite photo is very cool.

Yup, spot on David...... (not sure about the good editing though.... I blend them by hand using Photoshop, but this was a pretty quick n dirty effort). The full size version of the file is about 20Mb and should be over a metre long at A3 width (that's the biggest width my roll-sheet printer can handle).

Explains why your split times were so fast!!!

Either that, or you drove into Homer Simpson's hammock (for those who don't know what I'm referring to, there was an episode where Homer bought a magic hammock and it generated Homer clones if the hammock spun around)

Buddy,

Thanks for the PM. On the strength of what you have told me, forget my last request. 1 metre long. My god. That's frightening.

DoH!

Not Stiffy but nearly blue whale size.... I recall learning that they can be hung to 10 odd feet of grunt?

One of those odd bits of information you store in the grey matter from time to time.

Big Brother could have a fine ol time with that sort of fowl!!!

Cheerio
