Car Trailer Stolen QLD.
Please keep an eye out for Graham and Lyns Car Trailer. It was stolen from Peter Ransoms Gt40’s yard a week or so ago. The yard was fully locked & the trailer was also locked. It seems that the lowlife that did it used a crane of some sorts to lift it over the fence & probably put it on a trailer. Would you please keep an eye out for it either in your travels or at race events.
Even if the colour is changed it is a pretty unique build. The rego no is 747QJS (but that will be changed no doubt) VIN No. 6T9T23AFA603C7016. Graham and Lyn would really appreciate any help you can give them. If you hear anything contact Wazza Boylan QLD Club Pres or email me... Regards SpookyPT:( |
Any pics so we down here will recognise the trailer if we see it.
I'd assume it will be moved interstate. cheers |
I have a pic but it is not in a useable format! Perhaps Wazza can post one for me. I'll email him.

Hi guys,
This pic of the missing trailer was sent to our club down south so we can be on the look out also. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...87A964E257.jpg Cheers Brett |

G'Day Wassa,
Is that a manufactured trailer or is it a one off? Is there any real different and unique features that only this trailer would have ? I'm curious because of the unusual patterns in the aluminium. Also I hope that the VIN is stamped in more than one place. My trailers have the VIN stamped in four hidden spots. Makes life easy if it is found by the police. Hersh:) |
Hi Hersh,
The trailer is owned by one of the club members ( Graham Akers), and the photos I took were while we were attending a small Business expo , at which we ( the Club) had been asked to display our Cobras. Graham bought the trailer at that expo from a local manufacturer, who makes all types of trailers, but usually makes a "special" one for himself, uses it for a while to show it off and then sells it. We all thought this trailer was terrific, and Graham snapped it up. I was actually going to ask Graham if he wanted to sell it to me...... he recently sold his Cobra that the trailer was used for, and was keeping his GT40. The day before I was going to see Graham at a Club committee meeting, it was pinched, so I told him I'd need to now deal with the "new owner "!! Not funny? Regards, Warren. |
Wazza,
That is a handy looking trailer. I hope he gets it back. I think Graham knows your sense of humor or maybe not so funny.;):3DSMILE: Hersh:) |
Funny

BTW my car does not break down so I dont need one :D STIFFY |
Now what was that RACV number?
Quote:
Far be it from me to remind you when it happens:D Richard PS Not all cars on trailers are broken ones, but all broken cars end up on trailers:rolleyes: |
Rich,

You are a poet...... STIFFY |
But I will.............
I recall a long stint in the sun for one young Stiff recently when his car came to a halt on the way to war birds!! Seems wide low profile tyres aren't the rage in uppercomebucktawest!! And the car was on the back of an elevated tray that time!! Dementia is hitting old Stiffy hard already. Ciao |
Serves me right for being a smart arse when Graham Akers got his trailer pinched ( The start of this thread)........
Mine was driven out of the industrial park last evening at 5-45 p.m. and two other warehouse owners saw it go. Had a big trailer lock on it ,but they must have lopped it off, or just chained the trailer onto the tow ball and drove it away. WAS going to add it to the insurance policy when it came around for renewal next month.....aaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhh Pricks!! |
Wazza... that sucks  Are there security cameras in that estate of yours?
Cameron |
Another one ! ? Anyone who leaves a car trailer unattended in an industrial area is fair game for opportunists --although bloody un Australian-- its just a matter of when ! -- and don't underestimate their ingenuity either.
If an asset tracking device was (secretly) fitted you might then be able to locate it |
Do you think your gun laws have anything to do with your crime rates?
