Doing it hard in the USA
Well I jumped off the plane and into the heat.
It's just on 40c - 110f in Arizona in the shade. But I'm told it's a dry heat. We head off to Tulsa in the morning. Should get there Friday late for the bench session and then the track on Saturday and Sunday. Monday we head down to see Jay in Texas at Dallas. A few days there will see us ready to head back to London, Ohio to catch up with 'Stiffy' there. The London Cobra show is a great show that features drag racing down the main street of town. %/.. visualise either Collins St. Melbourne or Pitt St. Sydney with burnouts, drag racing etc...**) "Stiffy" "Stiffy" we are staying at the Knight's Rest - appropriately - it's in London. Yes it's fun...
We have had a bit of fun getting the GT40 ready for the trip. A new ZF transaxle, some performance and interior improvements http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...m/IMGP1283.JPG May do the Route 66 museum again.. Both Tulsa and London have big manufacturer presence so I'll grab anything of interest in the Trade Display area. SEMA later in the year just after the 'Run N Gun' will also be interesting to see what we can import into Australia, or see who needs agents in Australia..%/ I have been offered a number of GT40 agencies in Australia...:3DSMILE: :LOL: Bernie |
