Maybe a donation to the site would help them purchase the H/W and S/W needed to run like you want.

For the gents from Australia...Is it always slow? At what time are you on? 1-2am PST the server does backup work, so during that time it can be a bit slower. Outside of this, I believe the speed is either related to your PC or the network connection which I don't have control of.

Brent,

Shouldn't it go faster because we're downhill from you?

I have no problems with my Mac on the Forum. Some times a little slow to commence from my bookmark but mostly just fine.

Thanks

2 computers on the same connection. one works great, the other takes ages to load the first page - then is fine after that. I think its your connection or your computer.

I was having a prob with one, ran all the current microsoft upgrades and she came good - so it might be worthwhile logging onto microsoft if you dont have auto upgrade switched on and see if your behind on any.

Cheers

It's the porn sites that load all the spy ware crap that slows down your system. I have to clean up a friends computer all the time. Just boycot the porn sites and clean up your system.

Aahhh, don't let 'em get to you. It's easy for anybody to forget how to have some fun - especially on a site like this one. Taken in the right context - and, honestly, how can you take IT'S STUFFED, I TELL U! any other way - it had to be taken as a tease.

The coffee came out my nose when I read it the first time and I still snicker when I read it now. Carry on, menses. I, for one, think your senses of humor are intact and needed.

Multiple PCs here...and in Canada...(or igloo's as you yanks would say) and all is fine. I would be willing to bet it isn't the site and the personal service or provider at the receiving end. Anyway that's usually the cause most of the time. We shouldn't always be ready to pick and point fingers at the fine people who keep this site alive and going.
keep up and kudos.
