Default Don't Beleive Everything You Read In Snaketales

Hi All, I received my copy of Snaketales last night and was shocked to read an untruth had been written in the QLD Section of the mag....

It was penned by none other than QLD Car Club Pres Mr Warren WAZZA Boylan and it relates to the inference in the column that I had been self promoting my worthyness and ability to kick his said butt on the track at Wakefield.

So just to clear the air with this self jockeying and down playing of ones ability and car worthyness I wish to advise to the WORLD that based on Wazz'a experience (age) and ability (See previous comment re: age) I hereby acknowledge that the chances of me coming within 10 secs of his lap times are unlikely and I bend to the vast experience and knowledge that comes with a man with such an awesome car and driving skill and "senior'ity!...

For me... if I am close to WAZZA's times by 10 secs or under based on my limited age and driving experience... then for me I'm very happy and feel like I have WON............ ooops I mean driven satisfactorily....

As the obvious green skin the pressure to perform is on the more senior member.....but as you get older there always does seem more pressure to perform....

Little blue pill anyone!!!

Sounds like a little inter club rivalry will be on the track for all to see, should make for some great pictures.

Sounds a little like Graham Henry trying to claim the All Blacks are underdogs this weekend.

Red face Underdogs!!!

Yea right.
Its not who is fastest its who has the most fun.
A few years ago i sold my cobra to some suit stiff with attitiude 2 weeks before the nationals i asked if i could take it and the sale was conditonal on me not taking it.
So i took the old ute bolted on on some 3rd hand rubber and headed off to wakefield. when we arrived it was doing some thing in goulborne it had not done for a while bloody raining.
in the afternoon we headed to the track to have a look at the looneys going around in there cobras. still raining.
I though well i paid my money for practice i may as well. So we threw everthing off the back of the ute and i put on my helmet and went out for some practice not with my race rubber but the standard truck radials. after about 15 mins of sliding around the track and have a ball i came back to the pits my face was so sore from laughing with a helmet on. you try it.(laughing with a helmet on.)
4 wheel drifting down the hill and generally having a good time. it was the highlight of the weekend.
It is not about trophys its about having fun with friends you only see once a year.
I cant wait on a few weeks to go.

I cant wait to get there. By the way I was at the track the day you went round with your Buzzbox ute. See you soon!
