My last visit to the States I found some CNC ported heads and a smallish cam, I think the 6 litre with a tune and a cam would be plenty,
the dollar was so good I got the heads aswell. Just be careful when buying the motor package, the accessories are very expensive, try to get a complete
unit with gearbox. WASP in Ballarat (Luke) can assist, they supplied the wiring harness, rocker covers, all options and the fly by wire mod. They even remapped the computer to remove the security and upped it to 307KW. They also have warranty.

Here you go: http://www.autosurplusparts.com.au/default.aspx
WASP = World Auto Surplus Parts
Like Stiffy, I can recommend them. Got my L76 kit from them and it was a painfree transaction.

Check out holmart as well:
http://holmart.com.au/online/category6_1.htm
They have LS3\LS2\L98 at $6750, $4300, $4300. Were great to deal with (Mick).
Cheers

Why not
This would be my choice if I was to build a new car
DOHC 4.0-litre turbocharged 6-cylinder producing peak power of 270kW @ 5250rpm and maximum torque of 550Nm – the highest torque figure of any Australian-built production engine – produced from 2000-4250rpm
and thats a stock tune, imagine when it gets tweaked

Wiring.....
Hey SIDESHOW,

I dont really remember what it looked like. It was enough to get the car started (after a tweek from a guy in NSW) I think it was in 3 pieces.
WASP were fantastic to deal with (they are a business and need to charge for things) they have their own guy that remapps the computers. They keep the computer until you are ready to start the car (as the warranty starts from that date) this might be a small thing to some but when I built my first car all the warranties had expired before I had a chance test the product. They understand the time frames involved in building a kitcar, I can recommend them to anyone.

ok cool i thought it was in 3 pieces and that u have to stildo abit of work to get it together
i might buy a kit and compare maybe i can start selling mine in pieces for a cheaper price
then customer can do rest
yer i think a guy called fonz does their tunes
ive had afew of the ecus here that come from them when i make the looms up and i can tell the ones with similar stickers on them
its good thing to startw arranty when engine is started
the jap importers where my shop is do that type of warranty
i guess they are just selling parts so when it came for asking help regarding one kit they sold to baz they didnt and still havnt gotten back to me
apart from that i cant fault them
