Well done. I bet that put a smile on your face :)
Cheers |
Oh the life. No jandles, singlet, hair not brushed, RH Drive, no dash, wires hanging out every where, looking to make sure no smoke is coming from the loom, trying not to smile to much and make those male grunting noises we make when we are bloody proud of what we have done. Just dying to give it a rip.
Good to see my cars little brother has turned into a teenager. Good stuff Bruce |
I just had a look at your car too Kriat and I have to say there are some very nice Harrisons coming out and so many variations also. Warrick must be well into the 80s maybe early 90s by now.

Congratulations on the first drive LT - nothing like getting her going to spur you on.

Congrats LT, nice sedate first drive around the complex. Huge day in the life of a cobra builder. Look forward to seeing more as the build continues.

Thanks everyone for your replies and encouragement.
Yes big smiles all round. There was a not so sedate drive not recorded. This milestone certainly has me energised towards completion. Just need to sort the tacho pulses and a few wiring enhancements then complete interior and inside the boot. Hopefully won't be long now. Lionel. |
Another FNQ Cobra nearly done. Hell yes!!!

Where the bluddy hell you been hiding Blair. :)
Since ya got married we hardly see ya.;) |
looking for advice
Hi I am new on the forum, I am buying an unfinished project from a bloke in Queensland the kit is made by a company that is no longer in business I think it is a DE Cobra made on the Gold Coast somewhere. It is almost complete mechanically and has certificates for beam and torsion tests, on the chassis, it has a 305 chev v8 motor installed and comes with all the gear to convert to EFI can anyone tell me if this motor will comply with ADR once converted to EFI.

Okay, I looked at the video a couple of times and...
YOU ARE HAVING TOO MUCH FUN!!! :D :D Congrats on getting it out on the road even if you put the steering wheel on the wrong side. |
