In interesting online photo editor is at

www.picnik.com

I think your are limited in resolution but some of the effcts are pretty neat (and easy).

Gimp is a reasonable photoshop clone and its free! Find some online tutorials and learn about layers or youll be stuffed trying to figure it out by yourself.

Great photo Cameron by the way.

Cheers

Sorry for the delay, just back from Austria....

The effect is a combination of Photomatix Pro and Photoshop..

It's using three bracketed photo's to combine into one image and then using the inbuilt tools you can get a all sorts of results from bringing out the details in shadows (like inside the wheel arches) and maintaining details in the lighter areas, like the clouds.

If you can't be driving, you may as well be playing around with pictures from when you were driving!!

My better half is a Photoshop expert - seriously clever with it!

Its not the easiest Program to use at its full potential, but when you see a picture of say a Cobra in the relection of some ones eyes then its pretty imppressive.

CS3 (4 now) is pretty expensive, but Elements for $150 is good value and simple to use - I can do it

Cameron - Good job mate

Default The rise and rise of the Aussie Dollar

As many of you know I am relocating to the US. Since I posted the car for sale, the Aussie dollar has staged a comeback, by something close to 20%

As my goal is to have a replacement in the US, or just ship this one over, I am working on a US cost base.

So, long story short. I would like to see $US80K for the car. the Aussie was at 65cents when I listed and is now at near 80cents.

If this creates a greater level of interest, let me know here or via PM.

If not, no worries, I have plans to ship the car in December to the US.

Cheers

Hi Cameron,

Your SPF for US$80k is great value with the current FX rate making the AUD$ cost under the $100k mark!

Someome should get themselves a bloody good SPF Cobra for under $100k Aussie.

Regards.....Paul

I would agree Paul... but I also understand things are tough all round. I'm kind of warming to the idea of driving on the wrong side of the road with the wheel on the right side...

I am in the unique position of being able to pick up a car in the US, so all I am looking to do is swap like for like, and to replace this car with all upgrades and three sets of knock ons... etc... It's about right.

I hope you are enjoying the West and your beast.

Cheers

Cameron

Hi Cameron,

As you know I'm in Sydney more than I'm in Perth during the week, but I do get home every weekend and always manange to take the Cobra out even if it's for a short drive... I absolutley love my Cobra....It's really well sorted now and I'm getting more and more comfortable driving her...

I know that you're moving to the US soon, but are you going to make the National's this year?

Regards...Paul
