Sol

How do these tyres go in wet weather.

I'm trying to figure out what to replace my old hard tyres with.

Cheers

Steve

I'm not knocking them. Years ago I had a street registered dune buggy. As I bought it it was a low down street animal....it went hard and handled well for a short wheel base Vee Dub. It had BF Goodrich tyres on it. Reasonably wide, looked cool. In the wet it was skatey and scary ( a lot of fun when the streets were clear ) I bought a Datsun 1600 import that had the BF Goodritch tyres on that also and had the same result...scary in the wet. I think they were just a bit too hard. They must have changed by now. Can any one add to this ?

My only experience with them was back in the late 80's, they where rock hard from new and very poor in the wet.
I quickly decided to wear them out and replace them.
But the profile is good for the looks on a Cobra.
