Tenrocca 05-15-2009 06:44 AM

Wow. Im sure thats a private road through isnt it? Number plate showing may not be the smartest idea?

Rob. Smith 05-15-2009 07:33 AM

894 rear wheel HP. . . . holey dooley batman does it go around corners ???
By the way ...congradulations on the matrimony. Your wife must be some special woman to wear that on the wedding day.

macloft 05-15-2009 05:56 PM

Impressive:eek: YES
On UTUBE with number plates:JEKYLHYDE unwise
Trust me keep that stuff to yourself. You are being watched.

No You Tube in China  I'll have to wait until I cross a border :(

spookypt 05-16-2009 03:26 AM

IMO this is not the place to elevate the dills prowess or lack thereof. Public road, hoon laws... ...if the fellow hasn't had his car impounded yet........I'm sure it won't be long!

Tenrocca 05-16-2009 03:44 AM

I think I have a couple of issues with this. Number one it takes quite an ego to describe ones own cobra as the "ultimate" . Then a even larger ego to post a vid on you tube of yourself acting like a hoon, not only with number plates showing but with your real name as your ID on you tube. One google of the licence plate and the name tells me I need to be in airconitioning in order to be able to afford to build a car like that. Obviously you dont need a lot of brains to be able to make a motza selling air con to queenslanders.
Lastly...I hope the misses was able to get the burning rubber smell out of the hair.

Merv and Sharon 05-16-2009 05:10 AM

As it says, "more is comming (sic) soon!" Think I might just pass...

Kanga 05-16-2009 06:54 AM

This is the reason why everyone gets a bad name, take it to the track or summernats or somewhere where you can do this without drawing attention to all of us who just want to enjoy our cars. Don't be suprised if the first thing that happens is an EPA notice arrives in the mail, either for noise or emissions take your pick really. When it nearly hit the post I thought that it would end in tears, most of these things do, the car was out of control and there were by standers everywhere, it doesn't take much for it all to go bad real quick. I just wished that all that time and money went into a hotrod or something not attached to cobras.

people will never learn.

Got the Bug 05-16-2009 12:05 PM

Whew...I was looking for the mail box to get taken out, or god forbid one of the bystanders.

Muy Loco...:JEKYLHYDE:confused::eek:%/

Wazza 05-16-2009 06:18 PM

I'm certainly NOT saying this is acceptable behaviour......but.....

I know this guy is a Cobra TRAGIC..

The Wedding Cake was a Cobra !!....no kidding !!

All the wedding cars were Cobras,

He built his son a miniature driveable Cobra..

He's Young "ish "....

Spent 3 years and a Kings Ransom trying to create what he thinks is the "Ultimate" Cobra...his words...not mine...that produces over 1,000 rwp with a squirt of laughing gas..

He was in front of HIS house and the road is private"ish" in a very isolated area.......

The only other neighbour can be heard whooping it up while he's filming...

He's not the only chap to ever act like a bit of a dik on his wedding day...

I agree that this sort of thing is best kept for a race track / airstrip/......but before we get a noose and torches......let's all remember that sometimes some of us get a bit carried away, and don't ALWAYS behave.

I'm sure he'll pull his horns in now...and act more responsibly.

spookypt 05-17-2009 12:40 AM

All good points Wazza... and yes to be true we have all been silly.....but...
As you well know this is not a random act and his actions have been raised as concerns before. Remember the Sat arvo - Vic Bray member enlarging burnout outside Surfers Paradise Police HQ with a school kid in his passengers seat going to a formal with a footpath full of the general public... And this wasn't on his wedding day!

As a cobra tragic mate... he should park it... take a breath and snort some wasabi. Now that would impress me!.

What a Redneck !!

I guess he was over excited....its not every day you marry your sister.
Spoils it for everyone who respects the ICON that is a Cobra.

Pecal 05-17-2009 03:46 AM

Well Wazza, Justify his stupidity however you like but in the end we all get tarred with the same brush.

You mean like the respect you just showed to his lovely wife ? ?.......

Is a bloody burnout worth all of this attention and now this muck getting thrown about...

Jeeeeeeezzzz

Get over yourself......

I think we've all had enough to say about this, and I'm happy to see the end of it......

Must be something positive to talk about....surely.

What a load of Bull....

Just cause he acted like a bit of a Dik...doesn't mean we're all tarred with the same brush.

You think some Wally in Queensland going over the top on a country road has some sort of effect on how you're treated in Victoria ?

Anyway...

I didn't mean to justify it...

I just filled in a few missing details that might have reduced his"sentence".....

Let's drop it and move on...

It's getting WAY too much attention I recon.

acecob 05-17-2009 06:50 AM

I say good on him :)

What a great way to show how happy you are for the special day

Show us more

I might even post some of the helicopters with all the Grooms I've done it for

We could have our own burnout comp right here on the forums :D :D :D

LoBelly 05-17-2009 08:00 AM

This thread revealled something very disturbing to me...

I watched the video before reading all the responses - as the tail of the cobra swings by the (very solid looking) letter box all of a sudden I hear Jeff Foxworthy's voice in my head '...if you celebrated your marriage by ... etc '

Only to find that super wowser boy had taken the same road (sort of - should have listened to all those warnings about self-flagellation).

Glad to see the car made it through unscathed - hopefully the groom can survive this thread.

'STACKS ON'
