Default FS: 44 IDF WEBER set 302

Hi Guys
Not trying to turn this forum into a Buy / sell place but I have advertised these on the US forums and thought that maybe some locals might be interested.

Near new (300km) 44 IDF weber setup for a 302/5.0 windsor. Comes with jet set, balance tool, weber tuning book, It has braided fuel lines and little covers that go over the ram tubes when not in use.

Open to all offers. But hoping to get $1850 Aussie dollars.

Is set up complete - ie does manifold come with it. Most importantly, why are you selling it?

Do they carburate on the right side of the road?

Just kidding. Actually what would 1850 Aussie dollars be in US dollars? and do the groovy head covers come with???

Dave

How hard is it to keep the four carbies balanced? Does this need regular work?

Cheers

Neat looking setup Dave. You going injected now?

Cheers

Mike- Turbo EFI......Mmmmm power.

Sale reason- Mmmmm Turbo power. Got a big turbo, got a Wolf ECU on the way, got a big intercooler....still need big injectors, fuel pumps surge tank.

Stephen- when set I believe they stay pretty much the same. I had some trouble setting them up....but like I said on the phone they are fitted to a motor that has done 270 000km that is stock and tired. I just wanted to make sure everything was going to fit and work before rebuilding motor.

I got the 44's over the 48's as I was told that airspeed on street weber motors was vital for smooth driving. My stock motor would/ will rev to 6500rpm with the webers. They sound awesome under load.

Also I forgot to add that this set up comes with fuel pressure reg.

dadndave- Comes complete as pictured, manifold, carbs, braided fuel lines,
linkages, jet kit, pressure reg, balance tool, weber book. Should just drop on and fire up....

WOW

That is a hell of a deal.

I own a set of 48's and love them.

If you are interested in purchasing them you will need some patients to tune but just remember it is well worth it.

Albany Cobra:

Can you list the jets that it will come with

Idles

I'll get the jet sizing tomorrow as they are at work.
I am taking a big hit on these carbs....I have had plenty of interest from the FFR forum....
