Fly by wire,E40 PCM Connection
I have a LS2 with a VZ HSV LS2 engine Loom and a E40 PCM also a white stickered fly by wire pedal,crank sensor plug is Black(24x reluctor).What I'm needing is the wiring diagram (Pin outs)and also where I can buy the necessary plugs from i.e. (J1 Blue connector 56 pin,throttle 6 pin connector) so I can get this pedal connected to the PCM.Any info on what is the best way to tackle this problem will be much appreciated.

www.eficonnection.com sells the connectors you need. Wiring diagram - Search on LS1tech.com or ls2.com, and Im pretty sure you should find what you need.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the plugs.I found the blue plug for the E40, but could not find the 6 pin plug for the pedal, looking at the pedal it has Hella stamped on it, have tried the hella web site with no luck,any other Ideas.
Sideshow, perhaps you could spare me the plug to suit the pedal (has the white sticker) Cheers |

does yr plug have 6 pins all in a straight line well good luck finding that plug hehehhe even i had probs getting that one i prefer to do a very nice complete harness and then the customer will have no complaints with only 5 to 8 wires to connect to get engine started if i start selling things seperately then they will ring me for hours on hours asking how do i do this and that |
There are two pedal plugs on the following page from the site Mr. Tenrocca Esquire :) posted earlier.

if u have the ve commodore style acc pedal then its very hard to find the plug for it new
the corvette truck one is differnet to the aussie ve yr better off buying the gto plug and buying the correct pedal we get these prbs all the time idiots at holden doesnt know what goes with what when it comes to a conversion std commodore stuff is piss easy but when u do a conversion we do things different to a std commodore it all comes down to what is easiest to get and cheapest like it took us afew days to perfect tunes so that the themro fans dont come on all the time and the mil light doesnt stay on etc etc anyway plugs u need are maf meter plug if yr running one there are 2 types or air temp plug if u go mafless the blue plug obd11 plug pedal plug by time u wire up relays and stuff its around 200 bucks in parts |
If u can post a pic of the plug on the pedal I might have one you need foc. Hhey sent me the wrong one first(my fault) and I still have it. I needed the gto plug, think they sent me a vette one. Cheers

If it is a VE Pedal you have then the plug looks like this

Yep thats the plug I need.
I have the GTO plug, so will try and return my pedal and get the pedal that fits the GTO plug, I think that sounds like the best thing to do.Have been triing to upload a photo of the pedal with no luck. I Have the rest. air temp plug the blue plug obd11 plug pedal plug GTO Thanks |
So with the GTO plug do you only use pins numbered 1-6, as there are only 6 pin outs from the blue plug to the pedal?
Also what pedal fits the GTO plug, as our amcap over here stocks stuff all, so will have to get them to buy in from the east, If its wrong they wont take it back. Thanks |
just ring yr local holden dealer
ive heard of amcap supplying wrong parts eventually guy sent us all his stuff and we sorted it all out ive got 2 pedals i could sell to u but freight would make it not worth it |

The pedal I looked at today was off a vz ss I think,it had the 8 pin plug which I think the GTO plug would fit,dose this sound right? I have the same corvette accel pedal plug as you and would have to buy the gto plug, so looks like Im stuck this plug as well.

I've cut the corvette one down and now it fits,should do the trick.
