Small photos in threads?
Can anyone tell me why the photos which we post in a thread have suddenly become smaller? I notice that the upload facility has also changed format. Is it just change for the sake of change? I hope not.

Baz, probably to reduce bandwidth. Putting image size restrictions in place lowers the "weight" of each page we click on, making things load faster and taking up less bandwidth.
This in turn generally means a lower bill from the internet provider that clubcobra are using to host this site. It's not unlike the download quota on our residential broadband accounts, except you need to multiply the amount of traffic by thousands.
