Default Group buy from The Drive Shaft Shop,SPF,BDR ....

If anybody has an interest in upgrading your axles, Frank from the Drive Shaft Shop is offering a group buy for those who are interested (all makes). The discount will be based on the number of orders.

FYI They now produce axles for Backdrafts.

This is what Frank from the Drive Shaft Shop had to say about the Axles.

“We are using factory GKN outer CV housings that are fully hardened units of a superior material, and not soft edged like the original outer. We installed full chromoly internals in the CV and also changed the bar to one of our rolled spline torsion center bars in a larger 36 spline that has absolutely no diameter changes on it, making it act almost like a sway bar being able to torsionally twist during shock loads. These axles also feature our custom made Porsche-style 108mm inner CV with full chromoly internals that are rated for over 6000 ft-lbs of torque. A standard 108mm CV joint is only designed for approximately 2500ft-lbs of torque and for most standard cars this would be fine. The problem is that this is a purpose built car, made to be beat on, tracked and enjoyed. So if you're looking to take your Backdraft Cobra to the next level, and have reservations about your drivetrain being able to handle the power, then The Drive Shaft Shop has your answer....”
