Selling #611
2 Attachment(s)
Thinking of selling my blue/white 427 Roush since i probably wont get much use out of her with rainy season and the hot summer weather in Miami. Thought you guys up north might be able to enjoy her more. BDR #611 is also Roush engine #611. Has about 950 miles.

May I ask what your asking for it ??
|
sry about the wait......im asking market price....just want it to go to a good home with someone who will enjoy and take care of her. The roads in Miami suck for this car. Cant really open her up or drive her like i would like. She hasnt seen rain although it rains frequently here, hence reason for selling. Similar cars with 402R on other cobra sites are asking 45-49K with more miles(1300+). I just saw a 427R asking 55K and he got full price(turned down a later offer of 2K more). I will definitely take less than that. Make an offer.
|
still for sale....need room in the garage for the wife's upcoming ride. Make an offer or might have to trade it in.
|
May I suggest the following:
1) Post pictures - the more the ... 2) Post details on the car/options 3) Request a realistic price As you may know I bought 602, and I have friends here in Denmark that just might... ;) I know you suggest to contact you for more info... but the chance of selling is far bigger with a little advertising :) Good luck. Henrik |
I agree Henrik. You might also want to put it up on cobra country.
|
what's a realistic price besides market value? I used cobracountry to set the price. Ok ill post more pics but it will take a couple days. Details......

:) a marathon is won one step at the time, but if you only walk, the party will have left when you reach the supposed finish line.
This reminds me of a gentleman on the vette site - he offered his MY2000 for sale for more than two years - could not understand why people just did not came to his house to pick it up... You must advertise - your car is not that special, and if you appear "not serious" you will scare off potential buyers and only attract "tyre kickers" looking for a free ride... (to put it black/white) Value is - as you state - market value... I gave 39' for #602 back in January.. I would expect you could ask 42 and close for 39-40. Good luck. Henrik |
the only difference i readily see is the transmission. If i may ask....how many miles did your car have when u bought it? Thx for the advice.
|
You should be able to ask $46k for that car without any giggles. Selling it may require a little haggling, but that's normal.
|
If you want to spend 42K then I will let BDR670 go. A 347 stroker that will make some big block guys nervous. She is a prism red with fawn interior and has 1100 miles.
|
good luck with the sale xena2006......but id appreciate if you didnt hijack my thread. The right thing to do would be to start your own.
|
Looks like Jay as provided you with a pretty solid opinion regarding the value of your car. Is it listed in the "for sale" section here on CC? As others mentioned, try listing it on Cobra Country as you'll get a lot eyeballs/visibility there.
Good luck with the sale. |

I think his price should be $49,500 and take no less than $47K. You live in the South where it is Cobra season year round but prime time is October to April just when the rest of the country is facing long cold dark days. Somebody in Miami got to be looking for a pimp rid, I'm in Miama *****, how the song goes from there I dont know. Your problem and is with most sellers is marketing. Hit Cobra Country, flea bay, craigslist and sit tight and get your price. You only have to sell to one person not everyone. The car would move pretty quick in Houston, what did it cost new to build $55K?, make sure you include that in the add.

Not trying to hijack your thread, I thought this was an open forum. Just pointing out that prices have taken a hit with recession and one has to be reasonable to what market will bear. There are others in this thread who routinely hyjack to try to promote their own s***. Please send me title to the thread and I will respond elsewhere!

still for sale.....price lowered to make room in the garage

As I wrote to you 5 month ago - If you do not advertise you will end up like the Gentleman with his MY2000 Vette - still "selling" after 2 years. Advertise: Pictures, specifications(options), purchase price, asking price... I suggest you put it on the CobraCountry, Ebay, For sale section here - and I'm sure there are som local sites as well. Good luck. Henrik |
I will give you $30K, see he can sell it today but you are right if you want top dollar Cobra Country is the answer
