any ground clearance suggestions or recommendations

D111 Dennis How far have you gone to having the car setup to drive? I am talking about having the weights check in each corner with you in it? After this being done have a good 4 wheel alignment with a thrust angle set to "0". I Have a 4 1/2" at the frame points and about 3" at the bellhousing. My bell housing is a Lakewood and "NOT CUT" at the bottom for higher clearance. NJ states that nothing can be hanging lower than the rim of the car to pass state inspection. If you are running a soft spring, raise the height to 5" min. It's alot about the look. Once you have the look you like then reset the car and have the weights done. This really does alot to effect the handling and driving of the car. Rick L. Ps speed bumps, take them at a 30-45 degree angle if possible. You are a big guy, you may want to increase the dampeners on the shocks for your side 1 click up. The car looks good, is there any rubbing of the tires on the body going around a hard turn to the right or left?? Have your son measure the car with you in it from the ground to the fender to start. See what the numbers are. even out the car using the l/s until the car is weighted. Good Luck, may see you at the Cobra reunion in June.

He has not done anything to the car yet, it is my understanding the check has not even cleared the sellers bank yet. He is just a bit anxious and perhaps putting the cart before the horse (so to speak) at this point in time .

"horses" Bill, over 400 of them.

wire transfer was not a problem that's basically immediate,I even have it ensured , waiting for the car carrier to pick it up and head north. Should have it in hand by next weekend.

that's funny you say that, I actually am losing weight very rapidly the past week, the anticipation has dramatically reduced my appetite .that's a good thing I might end up with more ground clearance
