steering column ujoints

I have always had a shake at 60 mph but today when I was driving the steering wheel jerk out my hands and the car darted. Drove home and checked the play in steering wheel and steering shaft ujoint. they were wore out with a lot of play. the cars has 11k mile on it and i cant believe there wore out, has anyone had the same problem and were can i buy this ujoints at, but a better brand. my car # is #84
