I'm using the NT-05s now on my somewhat heavier E-M. Very good tires. Reg told me the latest Backdrafts are coming with them as standard. (note: these are NOT the NT05Rs which are a track tire.)

I took off the Michelin Pilots and will never go back. They DID almost kill me on a track day. Very sudden breakaway is not fun. The Nittos are more forgiving.

The Nittos cost 1/2 what the Michelins cost, too. So if they wear out twice as fast, that's OK with me because of the better traction. They're also good in the rain relatively speaking - a Cobra in the rain is a handful anyway.

Can't really blame the tires for that one...:rolleyes:

Reg recommended to go with the 255/40 on the front so I switched it up-I do like the look of the wider tire but that is secondary to performance so hopefully it will prove a good decision. The vendor is heat cycling them for me and I should have them on the car early next week. I will post a report asap. Thx all.
