A friend of mine owns an amazing looking and performing Backdraft roadster. I believe he said it's a special light weight model "RTX"? and I'm pretty sure the roller was way more than $35,900. Not trying to justify the asking price... only curious as to how you determined the car listed is just a base model.
Thanks.

If it is the RTX, the $45k for the rolling chassis includes the big brake upgrade kit and the LSR (plus other options not listed in Jays post).

Well........All "Real".....things aside......It looks to me that someone tooka lot of time to make that car a personal statement,.........which I personally think looks great......the quality of the build looks fantastic . The kit car market is full of Cobras that purportbto be replicas, but actually are nothing like the originals except in the body shape.......There should be more people willing to put a more "personal" stamp on their cars..............but then look at my car.......

Doubt it, but it may come with the windshield mounting kit which may approach the list price.
You can purchase them with Raydyot engraved on top/side depending on the installation.

Todd-yes, saw your car and it looks killer. Really like the color combo, the pin color makes it unique which I like. Motor looks like a beast in there for sure, I was thinking about how (if I had that top) I would rig a couple of nylon slings to may drive on lift to get the top off. My wife wouldn't be able to handle the other side for sure. Love the dash too...
Chomping at the bit!!!

Thanks for the feedback Gary! I'm sure you are with me in the anticipation is killing me. I was thinking the same thing about the top. Not sure how much it weights but I doubt my wife will be able to left it either. Looking at doing a pulley system to lift it once it gets here and I get my eyes on it. Looks like your car is not far off. Sure you are excited!

Todd-it's killing me, great weather here of late and prime time is right around the corner. At least u have year round driving out there!!! The heated seats should buy me a few more weeks**)
For me the top thing wasn't something I liked, I had the soft top but took it off and hung it up for good. If I need the top I won't drive! I'm sure with the heat u guys deal with a hard top/AC is a benefit though, I drove over 250 miles one day last year in 98 degrees and major humidity and we were fine so long as we were moving. As for a pop up rainstorm...I have a huge umbrella that I got in a Golf tourney that actually covers the entire cockpit which had to use once-just sat there on the shoulder and waited for it to pass under the thing. Had to be a funny sight:eek:
The cars really do look better in person that's for sure, I was a bit on the fence with my green pin color but in person I really liked it. Same thing happened when I bought my first car, like it a lot in the photos on lines but loved it more in person. I think u are going to be quite happy!

Yep. Hoping mine will be here about the time we have our first cool snap come through. I figure the top will stay off most of the time. Wanted the option for super cold/hot days. Can't wait to start seeing some test drive vid of yours and mine. Then it will start getting really exciting!!

Below is the non-engraved version...........
Finish Line Accessories
You will have to search for the scripted version. I believe there is a California company that has the exclusive rights to the laser etched markings.
Jamo may remember...........................
