auctions are "expensive" but people like it. seller pays showing fee $600?, sellers fee 5% buyer pays fee 5% but for some reason in the end the seller at times gets more at auctions than private party. i saw a bdr go for 62K last year at Mecum and was at best a 43K car on a good day. who knows. Peak cobra selling season starts in April, everyone is still hibernating.
PS the best engine i ever owned as far as reliability was a stock 302 putting 305hp to rear wheels. it was beat senseless and never missed a beat and still running today 5 years later. it was every bit as fast 0-60 as my strokers since it had a 411 rear end. above 100 mph it was tame but who cares about that.

I've only looked at it a hundred times, just not sure i want to spend that much. Love the car.
