Switch out bolt ons to knock-offs

I finally got around to putting on my 15" Vintage wheel knock-offs with Avon tires. I have a early BDR which had 15" bolt-ons but I wanted the look of true knock-offs.

Bob Lacey did a great job and the wheels/tires combo really fill out the wheel well. I'm still trying to decide whether to paint AVON on the sidewalls using Raceline stencils.

I went the easier route a few years ago and purchased the lug covers, which makes my bolt-ons look like knock offs.

I get as many comments on the wheels as I do the rest of the car. Knock-offs were an absolute must when I began looking at which Cobra I was going to get in to.

I had the lug covers but still wanted the real thing. I got my Avons as part of my package deal with Vintage-Bob Lacey. Great guy to deal with and knows his stuff.
