Ace23 said it the best "who cares what other people think" it's your money your car and the smile it would put on your face is all that matters :D I'm building mine now and I stuffed a 5.4 gt500 motor in it And 3.6lc kenne bell to top it off. You can get that loopy idle also with L&M nsr cams I have them, I'm sure they make them for the coyote.

Any cobra with a coyote motor is awesome. In a backdraft even better. I saw a Kirkham with a coyote and a 6 speed.

The injected engine 5.0 lacks the bigger HP that many prefer including myself, but it is a very popular motor in many new Backdrafts. Having an old school car like the Cobra should be period correct as much as possible with a Carb high HP motor IMO. Yea its stinky at times as you mentioned, LOL, but that kind of goes with the whole experience of having a Backdraft or other fine replica.
