For the record, my questions have been answered by a local with the same setup I'm looking to do, so thank you to those that actually contributed in a meaningful way to this thread.

OP, you are the one who is writing the checks and paying the bills. That automatically makes you the final arbiter on what goes into your car. If you are happy with the direction you are taking that is all that is necessary.

My focus was to help you avoid an unhappy ending that I believed you were heading towards. If you believe otherwise that is all the validation you need to build your motor however differently you feel is best for your project. There is absolutely no one who is more qualified to tell you how to spend your money than your are!

I think you should proceed however you feel is best for your project. As I previously said, my focus was merely to help you avoid what I believed would be an unhappy ending.

Your belief is that, it is not a probable outcome and I am absolutely good with that. In fact, as I suggested in the first paragraph of this post, that is all the validation that is necessary. You should forge ahead with your build plans.
