Default Speedo cable Autometer Gauges

My speedo is acting crazy (bouncing), like the cable is binding. I lubed the cable last year when it first started and it helped for a while, but I think it's time for a new cable. Does anyone have the part number for the speedo cable used with Autometer gauge and TKO Xmission? Car is build 499.

I'll throw in my story since my Shelby has Autometer gauges...
When I first got the car, after a few hundred miles, the speedo started bouncing and quite after about 20 more miles. The cable tied itself like a pretzel.
So I got a new one, lubed it up all nice and it happened again.
Found out I had the wrong gear the whole time (at the tranny)! It had the right amount of teeth but it was reversed from what the Tremec wanted. Might want to double check that

Thanks, I'll check the gear to be sure, but I think I just have a worn cable...I have about 6000 miles on the car and this problem surfaced about 100 miles ago. It never had a problem prior to that.

You can pick up a speedo chain (cable) at most auto part stores.

I know where to buy one...I was hopping maybe someone had replaced theirs and had a part number. It is sometimes easier with a number than to take the old one in and try to match it up for length, etc. I guess I'll just pull it and take it down to NAPA.
