Default Seats

Has anyone used cobra sr seats in there backdraft I have build #84
I love my car and have had it since 2004 it has been everything I have wanted
BUT the seats are to small and hurt on even a short trip I purchased factory 5 seats from a friend of mine but they sat me to high plus they seat fell apart in only a short amount of time ( junk ) in my opinion
So after 2pair of seats I am looking something that will last and fit, I would drive my car a lot more if not for the seats . I am 5-9" 210lbs any ideas and were I can try some out.

I've been wondering the same thing.

There were a couple of installs in the "What did you do to your Cobra today?" thread.
A couple more references on the FFive website.

Not much else.
Everyone seems to love them.

I believe starting in the 300 builds the seats got a little wider if I recall correctly. There was even talk about a wider than stock option available at one point. Maybe seats from a newer build or direct from Backdraft will be more comfortable than the BDR ones you currently have?

I went with the Procar Rally 1000 seats. I had to lower them a little and flip sides.

I have two unused Superformance 289 FIA seats. They are black vinyl and are quite comfortable (from the brief time that i sat in them when I first got the car) and substantial. I pulled them out of the car as soon as I got it home, as I am racing mine and need actual racing seats to pass technical inspection. Was thinking of listing them in the for sale section, but have not gotten around to it yet. They are on slides. Let me know if you are interested.
