Default Backdraft Soft Top Installation?

Hello!
I am writing you from Germany, because I wan´t to install a original BDR soft top on my BDR Cobra. Does anybody have some Information, how to do it?
Are there special points where to drill the holes or does it always depends on the soft top that will be installed?

Thanks for help!

So is there nobody who has pictures with the measurements of the rivets (for the original backdraft soft top), that needs to be installed! Would be glad to get infos about that!
Also pictures of the soft top frame with measurements, so that I can build one on my own!
Thanks for help!

Pastor,
I am not a backdraft owner but I do have a softtop (hood) on my car.
You say you don't have the bows and have to make them?
Do you have the top and side curtians?
Once the top i s put on the car with the bodies that is when you can mark the car for the placement of the snaps "Rivets" "Lift -a -Dot" brand fastener and the stud is vintage but and is actually easier than snaps to use with the top.

PM me your email address and I'll send you a pdf of something called "SOFT TOP ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR A BACKDRAFT ROADSTER". I don't think it's complete by any means but does have several pictures of of the installation process. I can't seem to figure out how to put a pdf on the response here.

After the above post: Just found a group of backdraft soft top install pictures I was sent by another member here. Lots of information in those pictures. You are welcome to them and I'll send by email when I have your address.

Good luck!

Hello!
I would like to try it again this winter, to assemble a soft top on my cobra?
If anybody has some pictures with measurements for me, that would be great.
It should be an original backdraft soft top!
Thanks Marc

Default Backdraft Soft Top

We are trying to install a soft top on a Backdraft and was hoping someone had a few photos of their soft top installed we could use as reference? The company wasn't much help and unfortunately there isn't a lot of good info/instructions online. Appears top itself is too small and we've stretch so much that one of the Tenex snaps is tearing through the material! Thanks if there's any info out there!
