Default Inspector/Appraiser

I'm planning on buying a Backdraft in the Chattanooga, TN area and would like to know a good appraiser. Thanks, Ron

I cannot help with a referral, but a Google search shows there are car specific appraisers in the Chatanooga area. Make sure whoever you use that they are familiar with the make/model car you are interested in. You should also have a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) done as well to note any questionable areas.
Good luck.

Default Appraiser

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up buying a BDR in Prescott, AZ. Finally found an appraiser that would go there. It was a guy from "Lemon Squad" and the name fits appropriately. He did show up in a timley manner and evidently had decent communications with the former owner but obviously didn't know squat about Cobra's. He missed a whole lot of issues. Broken side pipe/header springs, turn signal not attached to the column, brake lights not working, rear end/axle seal leaking, brake sender switch not working, hood "piston" leaked out to where it no longer held the hood open/up, hinges in the trunk VERY loose to where the trunk wouldn't close correctly and several more minor overlooks. NO, I wouldn't recommend Lemon Squad. I used other appraisers (not in that area) and they were great ... Good pics, (over 100), good communications including phone conversations. All at a decent price .... about $225.00.

Would like Cobra appraiser Tampa and San Diego. I'm using Lemon Squad and reports are no more than what any untrained observer could provide. Lacks mechanical description. Appraised price taken from dealer accepted price v True Market Value... much worse report on another Cobra in the area got the same Market Value based on Asking Price. Dealer was not complimentary.
