Quick Jacks positions

Quick Jacks positions
The BDRs have the QJs positioned outward. On other builds, I have noticed them positioned inwards. Is there a set standard that is more 'true' per historical standards?

All my pictures at Shelby American in LV show them outside (left-right).
As to say the distance between radius cutouts are set wide as opposed to narrow (left-right). |

I thought that 427's were out so that the oil cooler would not get crushed. But on the silver 289 shown above, it looks like it's oil cooler would get crushed. |

Inward unless there is an oil cooler interference as 1ntCobra suggested. Run a tube across from one hook to the other to test : )
