The mounting holes will not line up they are horizontal. I originally bought the Dorman cs103489 but the mounting holes are going the wrong way

I don't know the answer. But I have two local auto parts stores where the same people have been behind the counters for decades, and they can often match up parts by sight. The chain parts stores are usually useless.

My mistake.

That is an odd mounting, but I've seen it somewhere before. Can't remember where though.

You could go with the the PN I linked and use a BDR adapter.

Jay (Cashburn) at Vintagemotorsports has their own setup and maybe of more help.

Do you think it would be worth it to switch to a hydraulic throw out bearing?

I had considered it an item on my to-do list for awhile. But then reading all the issues folks were having with leaks and no one company stood out as being more reliable I've since changed my mind. All that coupled with the dropping of the trans and bellhousing, then re-aligning the bellhousing and reinstalling the trans, it then fell off the list. Still I won't say never though, at least until I puke a clutch or tranny.

My current project is in that area.
Girling Push slave cyl.
A different Willwood master,
Tilton remote 3 tank resv
Remote lines from the brakes and clutch to the Tilton resv.

They are extremely sensitive to alignment. And to most I think they would consider that the alignment was in the tolerances of most systems, so it's to say that the HTOB system is subject to "less than perfect alignment". And if you have troubles, a labor intensive fix. More people have gone the other direction - abandoning HTOB for the classic clutch master/slave.
