The failed attempt was from last year. The recent shots were taken after most of the rear end bits were taken off. Repairs/upgrades in process. Dropping the diff and subframe next. Waiting for new parts to arrive including the spring pads.

Putting my BDR back together after bracket fix and bushings. Discovered that I was not able to reinstall my rear beehive spring without the front of the rear trailing arm bracket loose/unbolted. Trailing arm downward angle and travel is limited while the RTAB bracket is bolted. The beehive is somewhat compressed when installed. No way around it on my car. Others may be different.

Thanks for the update. I ended up NOT taking out my springs. The rubber spring pads looked good and were completely intact. So I figured leave well enough alone.
