Snakebite4U,

I bought a Backdraft. I love this car. If I had the extra $15K at the time I was shown a Superformance, I probably would have bought one of those. I would probably love that too. Make sure you add up the entire cost of buying and completing the car before comparing. When I bought, there was at least a $15K difference for equal performance and more for a more powerful engine. And yeah, I know it comes with a top, tonneau, etc. I don't have either now and don't miss them here in Southern California.

I do like the way the Backdraft handles on winding roads better than the Superformance I drove. But the SPF I drove had a 460 in it. I wasn't able to go out in an SPF with a small block until I rode in one with a Roush 402R. I never got to drive that one, but I was so busy grinning with all that power, I forgot think about it. So, make sure you drive both as well. It could make the difference to you. Bye the way. Buy as much power as you can afford. Its cheaper than having to get more power later! And you will want more power! It is a sickness that comes with ownership.

One last thing. If you are tall, the BDR will most likely fit you better. The angled seats don't look great, but do provide more space and room in the cockpit. Once you drive it, you will forget the angle anyway. Also, the BDR steering wheel is set higher allowing for, shall we say more ample girth in the abdomen area. Just a thought!
