Wow...really nice "sled'. What engine are you running?

Roz 11-28-2006 11:54 AM

My motor is on the Dyno right now. I went with the 418 Windsor Stroker from performance Engineering, hoping to make around 500 to 525 HP. They are shipping it out tomorrow. ITS GOING TO BE A GREAT CHRISTMAS

Great looking Cobra!! Neat to see the top up, but they tell you in the owners manual not to exceed 75 mph with it up. ENJOY!!

SJK2 11-28-2006 12:08 PM

Fantastic, have fun.......

Roz, you pick a good engine builder. He has built several of engines for me and my customers. We just installed a 427w fuel injected and it has turned out very nice. Good luck and enjoy your new motor.

That is a beautiful car! Enjoy!

Snakester 11-30-2006 07:14 PM

Hey Roz, The car looks great. Are you going w/a carb or injected? Snakester

Cashburn 11-30-2006 07:57 PM

Expecting that powerplant soon. I hear it made 500 on the dyno and 530T with a Demon on it. Have been really impressed so far with the completeness of the crate engines from Eric at Performance Engineering. We are ordering number 4 and 5 from him soon.

Roz 12-01-2006 04:37 AM

Snakester, i went with the Demon carb, As you can see above She made 500hp and 530T. The motor should be to Jay @ Vintage Motorsports in a couple of days. Can't wait to take her for my 1st ride

Snakester 12-01-2006 12:44 PM

Roz, I have the 392/430/450 in my Roadster with a 750 Holley. Mine starts easy , runs great , I like the look w/a carb.I have @3800 miles and the car runs better every time I drive it! I am thinking of selling , just because I want a Roadster w/a big block...After you drive it a while let us all know your thoughts!!! Snakester

Doesn't Jay close during December for the holidays ? :3DSMILE: :p

just kidding ...

Hey Jay,

Will my little motor have those cool valve covers???

Gun Doc

letitbe 12-05-2006 05:18 AM

air cleaner

These Are Really Nice Looking Motors. If The Air Cleaner Is Not A K&n I Would Suggest Ordering The Element From Summit. I Think It's Around $65 And I Think The Part # Is 1965. I Have A Similar Breather And The K&n Is A Little Taller And Allows More Airflow Than The One That Came Originally. It Made Quite A Difference In My Car.:) :) :)

That's the cool thing, it even showed up with the K&N. This is good business and the way to really deliver an engine. Impressed so far. Will have a couple more to compare. :3DSMILE:
