Hell of a deal Jay...
|
Thanks!
Here's a shot of the engine package (we are seeing 450HP out of these): http://www.vintage-motorsports.com/a.../aem.sized.jpg |
Wow... now if I could sell my SPF in this "Soft Cobra Market" I would do it and buy one of those... seriously. Well, I haven't actually listed it, but I certainly would consider a trade in... lol.

James,
They are moving pretty well on CobraCountry ;) What color would it be though? Green is hard to come by. |
If I was to buy a BDR from you, it would be silver titanium with darker silver ghosted stripes and the grey interior.... I love the green that I have now though... wasn't thrilled with it when I first saw it, but it has grown on me. I get lots of compliments on it...

I'm getting mine tomorrow from Jay....not going to get much sleep tonight! |
James,
Nobody respectable that I know has a green Cobra. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...cture_0013.jpg Cheers! Dave |
Green is generally reserved for others on the road in you proximity. I miss seeing that green/silver car around here. I still tell everyone how much I liked the way that AOD drove in that car.
|
I like it Dave! Hank Steckel from San Diego has a green one too!
|
I do love the green cars now.. few and far between. There are a few scratches and star cracks on mine, but that just means that its been driven.

James,
The first Cobra that I ever saw was back in 1967, and it was dark green. It left a lasting impression on me. I really like the black sidepipes and roll bar on yours - not to mention the wheels. Cheers! Dave |
Just under 2 weeks left. We have a lot of interest in the last week and one of these specials is spoken for with several other deposits pending. Glad to get some more Backdrafts in the club here :)
|
ONLY ONE LEFT AT THIS SPECIAL PRICE
Thanks everyone. |
ALL ARE SPOKEN FOR. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW MEMBERS OF THE BACKDRAFT FAMILY
Sean, Dexter, and Michael have something else in common ... 3 Sterling Grey with Silver Stripe Backdrafts coming soon :D No green ones for you to worry about Dave ;) |
Congratulations guys! You won't be disappointed!
|
Congratulations to the new family members.
Sounds like you folks got a great deal. Wishing many happy safe miles to you all. Cheers! Dave |
Now we just need to find a home for the Speedway Blue car. A lot of equipment in that one, with the new dash and all.

Thanks guys, great to be a part.
Also, huge props to Jay for his attention to detail and consideration regarding my individual build. He really has gone the extra mile to ensure that this car is "mine" and not just some off the factory line build. As a side note, I hooked up with Len and Michael today and fulfilled a lifelong wish. My first ride in a Cobra. Two very cool and helpful fellow BDR owners that Jay hooked me up with locally. They both gave me a ton of advice regarding builds, SB100 here in California and "rookie" driving tips. Getting your cobra home-$some decent quan Your first trip to buy 110 octane for a 15 gallon tank-$100 Not stacking your car because of some friendly advice-priceless Nothing like cruising down the freeway at around 70 and having two cobras decide to "play" with each other. Grinning ear to ear, and knowing that in about 6-8 weeks-I might be joining em. Just too cool. -Sean |
Sean,
Great to see you over here too. It's great that Len and Michael happened to be so relatively close to you. I'm totally jealous of you guys getting to run them together yesterday! It will be awesome to get some photos of all 3 of your cars together when yours arrives. Did you encounter a big block vs. small block debate ;) Just kidding... |
